Mission Appeal for the Catholic Diocese of Ekiti
The Catholic Diocese of Ekiti is a gift of God and beacon of hope for over three hundred thousand Christians, located in the south-western part of Nigeria. In this socio-political context, many Christians are faced with numerous challenges, but with courage continue to uphold the faith amidst their struggles. The Church that constitutes the Diocese of Ekiti has been committed to evangelization, education, provision of health structures and support for young, poor and vulnerable for many years, and will continue in that light as much as there are resources to carry out such noble tasks.
Your prayers and financial aid will help a lot to consolidate efforts and initiatives in evangelization and catechetical formation for old and young. You will also be helping to
support priestly formation programs and offering support to seminarians. You will help in the building of befitting houses of worship and rectories for poorer communities. Among other things, you will also be helping to provide adequate transportation for Priests and Catechists.
Your help will enhance charitable outreach to the poor, vulnerable and the needy, create opportunities for vocational training and educational formation for the young people, and create financial support for needy families.
Your loving gesture of solidarity through prayers and financial aid will go a long way in supporting the Diocese of effectively carry out the ministry of Christ in the context of communities where people face numerous socio-economic challenges but with strong sense of faith. We deeply appreciate your love and solidarity. God’s blessing always.
